Point de Vue is a participatory choreographic project developed in Saint-Étienne with 20 to 30 participants from the local territory, including students from Université Jean Monnet, ESADSE, members of MJC Les Tilleuls and local citizens. Since January 2026, rehearsals have taken place at La Comète – National Theatre. The project explores the notion of point of view through collective movement in public space, with public presentations confirmed at Fest’U (28 May) and at the Cité du design in June. The project is conceived as a long-term process, with a planned international continuation.
Point de Vue is a participatory choreographic project that explores the notion of point of view — physical, social and collective — through movement in public space. Developed in Saint-Étienne, the project brings together 20 to 30 participants from diverse backgrounds: university students, art and design students, members of local associations and citizens. Since January 2026, regular rehearsals have been held at La Comète – National Theatre of Saint-Étienne, in partnership with MJC Les Tilleuls and local cultural and educational actors. Participants are not performers but active contributors to the creative process, engaging in a collective practice based on presence, endurance and shared movement. Public presentations are confirmed at Fest’U (28 May 2026) and at the Cité du design in June. Beyond these local events, Point de Vue is conceived as a long-term project. A continuation is planned through an international exchange between Saint-Étienne and Monastir (Tunisia), involving participants from both territories within an Erasmus-related cooperation programme.
