GO "Ukrainian Center for Social Projects"
Ukraine
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of local civil society organizations and active residents of frontline communities in the Nadporizhzhia region in recovery and development processes. Through the establishment and development of ‘Unity Spaces,’ the implementation of educational activities, analytical research, and the facilitation of cross-sectoral cooperation, the project builds sustainable mechanisms for community participation in decision-making and recovery.
To form and consolidate sustainable social and institutional mechanisms of interaction between local civil society organizations, active residents, representatives of local governments and businesses in frontline communities of Nadporozhye with the aim of their effective participation in the recovery and development processes.
Within the framework of the project, “Spaces of Unity” are considered as a socio-institutional framework of interaction that combines regular communication, joint learning, needs analysis, building trust and partnerships between communities. It is through this framework that the prerequisites for long-term inter-community and inter-sectoral cooperation are created, capable of functioning after the completion of the project and ensuring sustainable recovery processes.
The main objectives of the project:
1. To form and test the model of “Spaces of Unity” as a socio-institutional platform for regular interaction between CSOs, active residents, local governments and businesses in the communities of Nadporozhye.
