The project will establish a small digital media booth at the Dignity Drop-In Center (Community Resource Center), serving as a creative and safe socio-cultural space where young people from vulnerable communities—LGBTQI+, sex workers, people who use psychoactive substances, PLHIV and migrants—can share their experiences of living in Armenia. Through this space, 10 short videos will be produced, featuring personal stories, discussions, and reflections on civic participation, human rights, and social inclusion, particularly in the context of the upcoming 2026 parliamentary elections in Armenia.
The project will establish a small digital media booth at the Dignity DropIn Center of Yerevan, creating a safe socio-cultural hub for marginalized youth, particularly LGBTQI+ individuals, sex workers, migrants, people who use psychoactive substances, and PLHIV, to share their experiences and perspectives on life in Armenia. These communities face barriers to democratic participation, often fall victim of political manipulations, especially during elections. The booth will produce 10 short videos documenting personal stories, civic engagement, social inclusion, human rights, while participants receive experience in ethical digital storytelling, media literacy, responsible online communication. Videos will be shared via social media, partner networks, amplifying underrepresented voices, challenging stereotypes, promoting empathy, and fostering inclusive dialogue. By combining community support, participatory media, and civic expression, the project strengthens digital citizenship, empowers youth, and encourages democratic participation ahead of the 2026 parliamentary elections in Armenia.
