Step Up Your Game supports young people aged 15–20 in developing transversal skills, civic awareness and initiative during the transition from education to work. Through participatory and game-based learning, the project strengthens communication, collaboration and leadership while encouraging active participation in community life. The project also contributes to digital transformation by strengthening competences such as adaptability, teamwork and problem solving, which are essential for navigating a rapidly evolving labour market shaped by digitalisation.
Step Up Your Game is developed in partnership between Pot in Pot (Italy) and INOVA+ (Portugal) to support young people aged 15–20 during the transition from education to work. The project addresses the gap between young people’s profiles and labour market needs by strengthening transversal competences, self-awareness and civic initiative through participatory and game-based learning and it is co-funded by Erasmus+ small-scale.
The project develops an innovative methodology structured around three training modules combining experiential learning, reflection and collaborative activities. Through national laboratories, young participants strengthen communication, teamwork, leadership, problem solving and adaptability while exploring their role as active members of their communities.
The UpGrant will expand the project’s methodology by co-designing online learning activities that complement the three modules, focusing on media literacy, responsible online communication and ethical participation in digital spaces. A targeted communication campaign will support the recruitment of young participants for the laboratories.
