The project offers four free Thursday evening discussions (19:00–20:30) to raise public awareness of AI’s role in images and information. As media increasingly use manipulated visuals, these sessions provide multidisciplinary dialogue: featuring artist Paolo Cirio, lawyer Nicolo Bussolati, psychologist Marta Sofia Morabito, and a creative workshop with artist Megan Volpe to explore AI in art.
This project consists of a series of four free evening discussions (19:00–20:30) aimed at increasing public awareness of AI’s role in images and information. As news outlets and official media increasingly employ manipulated visuals, and online scams become more common, these sessions provide a space for critical reflection and interdisciplinary dialogue. The first three events each feature a guest from a different field: artist and hacker Paolo Cirio, lawyer Nicolo Bussolati with expertise in intellectual property, and psychologist Marta Sofia Morabito as moderator. Discussions will explore the boundaries between creation and misinformation, the legal implications of AI-generated images, and how to recognize content produced with AI. In the fourth and final session, artist Megan Volpe will lead a practical creative workshop, teaching participants how to use AI responsibly and imaginatively. The program encourages active engagement, fostering understanding of AI’s societal impact, media literacy, and innovative artistic expression.
