Tumpek project is a rural artistic co-creation project developed with inhabitants and local associations. Through workshops, shared artistic choices and itinerant walks, it transforms rural space into a place of collective expression and civic participation. It strengthens local agency, social ties and community-led cultural action, using art as a form of cultural resistance to isolation and withdrawal from shared collective life.
Tumpek project is a rural artistic co-creation project developed with inhabitants and local associations. It addresses social isolation, limited access to culture and the weakening of shared collective life in a rural area. Through meetings, workshops, collective walks and artistic experimentation, participants are involved in all stages of the process: costume-making, creative writing, music, movement, staging and the design of the itinerant route. Their knowledge of the territory, their uses of local spaces and their relationship to the natural and built environment directly shape the final form. The project culminates in an itinerant artistic experience in rural space, turning the territory into a place of collective expression and civic participation. It strengthens social ties, supports community-led cultural action and creates a shared artistic process rooted in local life and cooperation.
