Voices Without Labels: Creative Dialogue Labs for Democratic Trust is a participatory cultural initiative addressing growing social and political polarisation at the local level. In contexts where mistrust, stereotypes, and misinformation weaken democratic culture, the project creates safe and creative spaces for constructive dialogue across differences. The initiative will implement three Dialogue Labs bringing together young people, educators, journalists, and community members selected through an open call to ensure diversity of perspectives. Using storytelling, forum theatre, and facilitated listening practices, participants will reflect on lived experiences, challenge polarising narratives, and identify shared values. Rather than debating positions, the process focuses on empathy, critical listening, and collective problem-solving. The labs will culminate in a public artistic performance presenting anonymised stories and co-created messages, followed by an open community discussion.
