WE DO is a networking initiative that connects migrant self-organisations in Hamburg and strengthens their participation in democratic life. Migrant organisations play a vital role in supporting communities, fostering integration and promoting social dialogue, yet often lack spaces to exchange and collaborate. WE DO creates a regular forum where organisations share experiences, build partnerships and develop joint initiatives. Through expert input and moderated dialogue, WE DO empowers collective action in a diverse and democratic society.
WE DO is a networking initiative that strengthens cooperation and democratic participation among migrant self‑organisations in Hamburg. Migrant organisations play a vital role in supporting communities, fostering inclusion and creating spaces for dialogue, yet many operate in isolation and lack structured opportunities to exchange experiences or develop joint projects. WE DO addresses this by providing a regular platform where organisations meet, share knowledge and build partnerships across cultural and linguistic borders.
Each meeting combines expert input, moderated discussion and peer learning around topics such as democratic participation, community involvement and cooperation with public institutions. Participants exchange ideas, identify shared challenges and explore ways to collaborate more effectively.
By connecting grassroots actors and encouraging collaborative action, WE DO strengthens civil society, amplifies migrant voices and promotes a more inclusive and participatory democratic culture in Hamburg.
