Youth Culture for Democracy Lab in Albania is a participatory socio-cultural initiative that empowers youngsters to engage with democratic values through creativity, dialogue, and collective action. The project transforms cultural spaces into laboratories of participation where youth explore themes such as civic engagement, inclusion, and social responsibility through artistic and cultural expression. The project uses a participatory methodology based on co-creation, experiential learning, and community dialogue. Through interactive workshops, young participants will experiment with storytelling, digital media, and collaborative art practices to reflect on democratic participation and contemporary social challenges. Participants will co-create cultural outputs such as podcasts, digital stories, and visual materials that express their perspectives on democracy and community life. These outputs will be shared during community dialogue events, bringing together youth, citizens, and cultural actors to foster discussion and reflection on democratic participation and social cohesion. The project strengthens youth civic awareness, encourages critical thinking.
